i’m a pretty normal guy living a pretty normal life.

i love and am loved. i have hopes, dreams, fears, questions, and yes, even a few answers.

i cherish my family. // my wife of 10 yrs / annette, my 3 little men / isaiah (6), aidan (4), + ridge (2)

i try to honestly and faithfully follow jesus, but i fail often.

i want to love people, but my love isn’t always strong.

things i enjoy: my family, media (music, movies, tv, social), ministry, toys (stuff like my iPhone), health + fitness, sports.

ABOUT my vocation //

for the past several years my wife and i have been wedding filmmakers with 28:20 films. on april 1, 2010, we will change residency from cincinnati, oh, to elizabeth city, nc. i will be the student pastor at new community church. i am extremely excited to see how God molds me and uses me as we run into this new scene of life.

this is my own way of trying to stay current with God. it is open to the public, yet it’s very private and personal. please respect that.

i understand life to be a journey, and i’ve been traveling it for some 34 years now. as i suspect is true of most people as they age, i find that i have fewer answers, and more questions, with each passing day.

i need a space where i can be honest with God, where i can question, where i can complain, where i can express gratitude, where i can just speak from the heart.
